Ryan Ross is currently a graduate student at Babson College. He is the Co–President of the Babson Sustainability and Energy Club and has been a member for the past two years. His philosophy for sustainability focuses on taking ownership of real world problems in order to leave our world a better place for generations to come.
Ryan’s professional experience began at Boston Scientific where he worked in their Corporate Operations Strategy Department analyzing prospective plant investment opportunities internationally. He then joined Harris Corporation working as a Supply Chain Performance Team Leader managing the logistics and acquisition lifecycles of large aerospace and defense programs. His most interesting experience includes leading a team of supply chain professionals on the Aireon Program which will be the largest low earth orbit satellite constellation revolutionizing air traffic control management. The constellation continues to be ferried into orbit by Space X and is expected to operational by the end of 2018. Currently, Ryan is the Deputy Program Control Officer and Program Manager at Raytheon BBN Technologies. His duties consist of fiduciary and programmatic responsibilities for projects with the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA).
Ryan was a division II scholarship athlete and attained his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in management from Bentley University. His expected MBA graduation date is Spring 2020. Ryan has the goal of launching an entrepreneurial endeavor in the Food & Agriculture Industry focusing on the transparency of food and shortening the supply chain from producer to consumer. He currently resides in Duxbury, Massachusetts with his wife Brittany and two-year-old son, Benjamin.
