Pete pedersen co-founder & Principal, Renova Partners
Pete is a co-founder and Principal of Renova Partners, LLC, which redevelops contaminated properties. He is also co-founder and past Principal of Brightfields Development, which develops solar arrays on brownfields, closed landfills, carports and other underutilized sites. Since 2016, he is a Board Chairman and Director of Environmental League of Massachusetts and a Senior Advisor to organizations deploying solar products in East Africa and India.
Prior to co-founding Renova Partners and Brightfields Development, Pete was the director of Business Development for Thermo Electron Corporation and selected subsidiaries and Vice President for Corporate Development, ThermoRetec Corporation. During this time, he conceived, founded and managed consulting practice for facilitating the redevelopment of contaminated properties and mitigation of contingent environmental liabilities, managed acquisition campaigns and venture capital investments for environmental services group and power generation equipment group, and was responsible for sales and marketing function for public environmental services firm.
Pete earned a Magna Cum Laude in American Studies from Amherst College in 1980 and a Juris Doctor from The University of Chicago Law School.
