Genaro Marquez has relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Corporate Restructuring and Real Estate Private Equity industry.
From 2015 to 2018 he served as Grupo EVYA’s Assistant Vice President of Strategy and Financial Planning as well as VP for Roca Ventures.
Prior to joining EVYA, Genaro worked as an Analyst for Mira Companies / Black Creek Group, a Real Estate Private Equity firm, overseeing the management of over US$85 million in capital commitments to two JV Partnerships with important “Affordable Housing” Mexican developers.
From 2012 to 2014 he served as an Analyst for Tresalia Capital, a Real Estate Private Equity firm where he participated in the closing of a US$160 million real estate private equity fund and management of over US$340 million in capital commitments for development and US$600 million for acquisitions.
He has volunteered for different initiatives such as Ashoka Mexico & Central America, a non-profit global organization that supports social entrepreneurs and Carrot, the first car sharing enterprise in Mexico.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and a General Management course from Stanford University.
