Sinan Erzurumlu is a Professor of Innovation and Operations Management at Babson College. His work focuses on decision-making under risk and uncertainty for innovation, technology entrepreneurship, and sustainable innovation, with research on how organizations design business models and operations to address growth and sustainability challenges.

Mark Donohue is a Babson alumnus, founding cleantech investor, and the founding Chair and benefactor of the Babson Sustainability & Energy Conference. Over nearly two decades he has helped build the conference and club community while leading impact-driven ventures and investments focused on sustainability, conscious capitalism, and human-centered innovation.

Ryan Lee
Co-President

Ryan is a full-time MBA candidate at Babson College, Class of 2027, and Co-President of the Babson Sustainability & Energy Club. He brings a global perspective shaped by his work at the intersection of venture capital, climate tech, and entrepreneurship. Before Babson, Ryan founded Running Launch Ventures, an early-stage venture-building firm, and has been a Partner with Obudu Capital, an Africa-focused early-stage climate tech VC. He is also the founder of NOMMAD, a sustainable tourism venture that he is building on campus at the Babson Blank Center. At Babson, Ryan is also involved in driving VC programming with the Graduate PE/VC Club and leads BSEC’s sustainability and climate technology initiatives, including the club’s 20th Annual Conference, Entrepreneurs for Impact. He is passionate about building ventures that create long-term environmental and economic value, particularly across emerging markets and climate-focused ecosystems. He’s an avid marathon runner and training for his 12th marathon later this year!

Kairav Panchal

Kairav is a full-time MBA student at Babson College. He was previously working at a VC firm at the founder’s office. Prior to this, he worked in strategy consulting and ESG consulting, doing carbon footprint analysis for pollution-intensive industries.
Ilia Borodin
Co-Director of Sustainability, Climate, and Technology

Ilia is a full-time MBA candidate at Babson College with an expected graduation in 2027. He holds a Master of Science in Agriculture and has over a decade of hands-on experience in industrial greenhouse operations, automation, and agribusiness entrepreneurship. Prior to business school, Ilia co-founded and led a greenhouse infrastructure venture, executing large-scale projects across multiple regions and driving significant improvements in agricultural productivity through modern automation technologies. He previously worked with leading horticultural automation providers and managed commercial greenhouse operations at scale. At Babson, Ilia is focused on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and applying quantitative and operational thinking to physical industries. His interests center on AgTech, operational efficiency, and building scalable solutions in agriculture and food systems.

Dabin Lee

Dabin is a full-time MBA student at Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, with an expected commencement date in May 2026. He is concentrating in Business Analytics and Machine Learning (STEM) and Finance, and is preparing for roles in the energy and infrastructure sector. Prior to Babson, Dabin worked across energy project development, consulting, and supply chain roles, including supporting offshore wind projects at Equinor and providing market and commercial analysis to energy and infrastructure clients at Nathan Research Group. He has additional experience in international logistics and end-to-end supply chain operations in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Dabin is particularly interested in work at the intersection of technical execution, market dynamics, and decision-making in regulated and policy-driven environments.

Siddhartha Suresh is a sustainability and energy professional with experience in infrastructure development, and regulatory compliance. He has led cross-functional initiatives across real estate development, global product certification, and emerging sectors including EV charging and drone technologies. With a foundation in electrical engineering and a focus on strategy and analytics, Siddhartha has worked at the intersection of technology, operations, and sustainability. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Babson College and is committed to enabling scalable, compliant, and impact-driven solutions that support the global energy transition.

Fumie Maeno

Fumie is a full-time MBA student at Babson College and holds a Bachelor of Law from Keio University. Before Babson, she built over 18 years of experience in asset management at Nikko Asset Management, where she served as an Investment Analyst, Investment Service Officer, and Investment Compliance Officer. She covered 80+ equities, led cross-functional process redesigns, and supported product launches enabling international expansion. Beyond her professional career, she is committed to sustainability and community development, focused on food safety and primary industries. Sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic, she cultivated over 20 vegetable varieties and co-founded Farm Gastronomy, a 40-member community.

Ayako Osawa is a full-time MBA candidate at Babson College, Class of 2027, and Director of Impact Investing & ESG for the Babson Sustainability & Energy Club. Before Babson, she worked on social impact projects in areas such as culture, education, and social welfare, supporting fundraising, communication, and platform development. At BSEC, she works on strengthening ESG learning and connecting students with investors and practitioners from different sectors. Dilo Junior is an MBA candidate at Babson College and a climate-tech ecosystem builder with over ten years of experience supporting early-stage startups at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and venture capital. He is the co-founder of HARDS, Brazil’s first hard-tech accelerator and pre-seed fund, where he helped invest in and scale deep-tech companies from lab to market. Passionate about climate resilience and impact investing, Dilo focuses on building founder-first platforms that enable innovation to solve meaningful global challenges.

Yahna is a Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership (MSEL) student at Babson College, set to graduate in May 2026. Originally from Mumbai, India, Yahna brings a global perspective shaped by travels to nearly 40 countries and a passion for connecting with new people and cultures. An accomplished athlete, Yahna represented India in throwball, proudly serving as the youngest captain to lead her team to tournament victory in 2019. Beyond sports, Yahna thrives on music and building meaningful friendships. Professionally, Yahna gained hands-on experience in sports marketing and sponsorship at Meraki Sport and Entertainment, one of India’s leading agencies, and in luxury real estate marketing at Nest Seekers International in New York. With entrepreneurial spirit and leadership honed at Babson, Yahna is poised to make an impact in innovative, people-centered ventures.
